I've learned a lot from this project. So much that I don't know where to start. First, I'll talk about what I learned about my history. I knew a lot about my family to begin with. But I asked my parents about how they met when I was assigned this project. I learned about my grandparents' hometowns (though I didn't include that in my project because it was too long). I also learned that a friend that I thought I knew for 5 years is actually my friend of 9 years already (I looked through my birthday pictures and found that friend in my 3 years old birthday pictures).
There are a lot of things that I learned about everyone else too. I realized that there are so many AWESOME people around me. Cecilia is so good at swimming (she had so many medals) and Eddy's ancestor is awesome too. And many many more awesome facts about my classmates! The most surprising thing was that Henry cooks. That was so (how can I say this)... unbelievable.
Yep! Totally! I'm really surprised when I know your dad served the Russian Army! I was so afraid of Henry's spaghetti that I won't taste it :)) haha!
ReplyDeleteMy dad wasn't in the Russian army. he was in the Vietnamese. i wasn't that scared of his spaghetti. it's just that i was too full to eat.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOUR POST! :)
ReplyDeleteespecially what you've learned about YOUR family! I think that thanks to this project, you get to talk with your parents more about your history ♥
Your presentation was AWESOME :)
I love it! ♥
Russia is so cool. Maybe in class you can repeat "My name is Olia" in Russian, I love the sound! I love your presentation. Maybe you can speak slower though, not all of us are advanced you know :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of our presentations. They rock!
Everyone was very surprised that Henry cooked and that you are Russian. I'm am glad that you all learned so much about each other.
